On Wednesday 13th June, 8 Swans represented our school at the Quadkids tournament, held at Northgate High School. The children competed in 4 events; 75m sprint, 600m run, standing long jump and vortex throw. Over 50 schools attended the event; which included an opening and closing ceremony. Well done children!
The weekend of June 9th & 10th saw a massive transformation of our grounds. With an army of helpers on Saturday and Sunday, many, many jobs were completed; ivy and shrubs were cut back, fences were cleaned and painted, new lining and bark laid, new plants planted as well as weeding and clearing. On Thursday 17th May, the school held a lunch to celebrate the forthcoming Royal Wedding. Rachel made some cakes, Mrs Martin iced them and taught the Swans how to make flowers using icing, which then decorated the cake. On Tuesday 1st May, some of the Owls children took part in a Handball tournament at Inspire, Ipswich. They played really well; won 2 games, drew 1 game and lost 1 game. Well done everyone!

On Thursday 19th April, some of the Swans class were involved in a Futsal tournament at Inspire, Suffolk. The children played several matches against other schools, scored some goals, conceded some goals, but all had a good time! Well done children.

On Friday 23rd March, an Under 7’s team, an Under 9’s team and two Under 11’s teams performed at Westbourne High School.
