We began our new art unit of ‘Drawing’ this week! We learnt some techniques of how to sketch using shape and put these to the test in our natural environment! The children created some beautiful artwork.
KS2 had a lovely afternoon making Easter Bunnies – it’s amazing what you can do with a few egg boxes, old cereal packets and scrap pieces of card!
To kick Science Week off, the Year 6 children took part in an interactive lesson about space travel. They learnt lots of interesting things about space and what plans there are for the future with regards to landing on Mars and living on the moon.
On Tuesday 17th March, the Owls class went to Mountfitchet Castle, which is a recreated Norman castle and village. The trip followed on from last half term’s History topic on the Norman Invasion.
