The Swans visited the Genome research campus in Cambridge today and learnt about DNA and sequencing. This was an amazing opportunity to visit a world famous research lab and discuss the scientific research that goes on there. The Swans have been learning about identity fraud. They took part in a workshop run by ‘Natwest’ Bank and learnt about the ways in which criminals try and claim your identity so that they can then apply for bank loans or mortgages. Hopefully they are all now more aware of how to protect their identity.
