Staff, children and parents put on their walking shoes this week and took part in Walk to School Week. The JRSO’s organised the event and the children designed posters to promote it. Staff ran a ‘walking bus’ so children who travel to school in a car could be dropped off and then walk to school. […]
The JRSO’s asked the children to wear their favourite footwear on Wednesday 17th May to raise money for our Action Aid Child (during Walk to School Week). The children wore an assortment of footwear including trainers, sandals and slippers. Thank you very much for all your donations.

Over the past couple of weeks, all the children have been set homework to create a Christmas decoration/ picture/ card to give to the patients at West Suffolk Hospital to cheer them up during their stay over the Christmas period. On Friday afternoon, we welcomed parents and carers to join us for our Harvest assembly. All the classes shared readings, songs, poems and prayers. Thank you for all the donations of food goods which will be donated to the Colchester Food Bank.

Thursday saw Stratford St Mary host sports day. All the children took part in various events; throwing, jumping, sprinting and a fun run.
