On Friday afternoon, we welcomed parents and carers to join us for our Harvest assembly. All the classes shared readings, songs, poems and prayers. Thank you for all the donations of food goods which will be donated to the Colchester Food Bank.

Thursday saw Stratford St Mary host sports day. All the children took part in various events; throwing, jumping, sprinting and a fun run. Today children and mums (and grandmums) enjoyed a belated Mother’s Day lunch. Rachel, the cook, prepared a roast chicken dinner followed by sticky toffee pudding and custard. There were lots of empty plates and very full tummies! It was lovely seeing so many of you join us for this special lunch.
