The JRSO’s asked the children to wear their favourite footwear on Wednesday 17th May to raise money for our Action Aid Child (during Walk to School Week). The children wore an assortment of footwear including trainers, sandals and slippers. Thank you very much for all your donations.

Over the past couple of weeks, all the children have been set homework to create a Christmas decoration/ picture/ card to give to the patients at West Suffolk Hospital to cheer them up during their stay over the Christmas period. Saturday evening saw us open the school grounds for the annual fireworks event. On Friday afternoon, we welcomed parents and carers to join us for our Harvest assembly. All the classes shared readings, songs, poems and prayers. Thank you for all the donations of food goods which will be donated to the Colchester Food Bank.
On Friday the children were very excited as it was finally the day for the classes to present their products for the ‘Mini Enterprise’ which was launched during Money Week. Thursday saw Stratford St Mary host sports day. All the children took part in various events; throwing, jumping, sprinting and a fun run. On Thursday 21st April, Owls class joined approximately 4000 other Suffolk School children at Trinity Park for the annual Schools Farm and Country Show.
