This week in the forest, we were very busy planting sunflower seeds, recapping our clay skills from Autumn term, building ships and checking the progress of the frogspawn!

We have been working with Craft Nurseries in Ardleigh and they have kindly donated seeds for the Forest Fun area and sunflower seeds, pots and compost for the children. Miss Jones made an Easter display for the residents at BlackBrook Residential Home with the Easter Eggs the children had coloured. Mrs Cousins will deliver the Easter cards the children have made to the older residents in the village. Well done Kingfishers.

On Friday 28th March, several children from the Owls and Woodpeckers classes took part in a hockey skills session. The children spent some time at various stations learning some skills useful for playing hockey. Thank you to the adults for taking them and all who came and supported the team.

In Year 6, we have been learning different watercolour techniques. We then tried to use some of the techniques in our iceberg paintings.
