Owls’ Science topic this half term is Properties and Changes in Materials. This week we looked at solubility. The children had to work as scientists to plan and carry out their own tests to investigate the solubility of different materials. Lots of great learning and discussions.

On Wednesday 21st June, a group of children represented our school in the netball county final. They played really well demonstrating good team spirit and skill. Thank you to Mrs Wyncoll and Mrs Allum for coaching and accompanying them to the tournaments.
In Science we dissected a heart. The children had been learning about the heart in previous lessons so this really helped embed the learning. Some of them were really brave and used scalpels to cut into the chambers!
