In English the children in Kingfishers Class have been focusing on the story ‘Traction Man is Here’ written by Mini Grey. The children have been writing their own adventure for Traction Man, deciding on what would happen when he visited school. Great work Kingfishers.

Owls Class’s DT topic this half term is Gears and Pulleys. In our first lesson, we made gears in different ways. We used corrugated card, playdough and paper clips and evaluated which ones worked better. The children showed really good practical skills to demonstrate their learning.
In History, we looked at the names, origins and professions of different Medieval migrants who came to Suffolk. We then used historical data to draw conclusions about whether they were welcomed and became fully integrated into our society.
