Christmas Lunch

Year 6 have been sewing Christmas tree decorations

We have been using our sewing skills to make a Christmas tree decoration – it’s not as easy as you think but they have done a sterling job and it has been lovely to watch the children support each other with this challenging task!

Hey Ewe!

The children in Kingfishers and Woodpeckers Class took part in their nativity performance of ‘Hey Ewe!’ to their family members in Stratford St Mary Church. They sang their songs beautifully, said their words clearly and were very well behaved whilst the other children performed. Great performance Kingfishers and Woodpeckers.

We had a wonderful workshop delivered by Harper’s mum this week; linking in with our geography topic. Does the River always meet the Sea? We learnt lots about the causes of flooding and the dangers flooding can pose.
