Many thanks for your kind donations. We raised £75.00 from wearing our favourite footwear to school; the money was sent to Action Aid to our sponsored child – Velonika in Malawi.

Owls Class shared photographs and explained about their recent visit to Trinity Park for the Schools Farm and Country Show. They also showed their research of where Rainforests are in the world and one member of the class played his violin. Well done Owls, a great assembly.

The JRSO’s felt the need to run a scooter ability club as many children bring their scooters to school and need some reminders of how to travel safely. The weather was fine this Friday so Scooter Ability Club took place. Children from Kingfisher and Woodpecker class took part. The JRSO’s did a quick safety check […]

It may have been a bit wet but it didn’t deter the handful of hardened gardeners who turned up on Saturday to do some tidying up in the school grounds. It was a fun and productive few hours and we managed to clear the area where the compost bins are and get piles of leaves […]

Last week the Woodpeckers shared their learning in front of the school and parents. The children retold the story of Noah’s Ark using actions and shared their own versions of the 10 commandments. The children also shared some of their wonderful recounts based on World Book Day and celebrated their achievements. Well done!
Today children and mums (and grandmums) enjoyed a belated Mother’s Day lunch. Rachel, the cook, prepared a roast chicken dinner followed by sticky toffee pudding and custard. There were lots of empty plates and very full tummies! It was lovely seeing so many of you join us for this special lunch.

The Kingfisher Class visited Hall Farm today looking for signs of Spring. The children followed the farm trail and they saw daffodils, buds on trees, lambs and calves. The children were allowed to feed the baby lambs using a bottle of milk; they really enjoyed doing this and the lambs were very hungry. The children also visited the café […]

It was the turn of Owls class to host the assembly on Friday. The children shared some poetry work, including Kennings and list poems and they also performed ‘A Dinosaur Rap’. The newest additions namely Fudge & Dusty (the class rats) made an appearance and the children explained how to care for them. They also […]

The day started with a parade in the playground, looking at the different costumes and characters. The children then took part in different activities in their house groups. Miss Jones provided an activity based on Maths […]

They looked for parents parking correctly, children walking and crossing the road correctly, children riding their scooters or bicycles safely and wearing a cycle helmet. The JRSO’s were pleased with what they saw but have […]
